New QR Codes Simplify Onsite Room and Desk Booking

QR codes have finally reached the level of ubiquity due to Covid where many interactions needed to be touchless.

Now QR codes can be used within the OfficeRnD Hybrid platform for all bookable resources to make it even easier for employees to reserve spaces. QR codes also help organizations track the onsite presence of employees in real-time.

Here are the highlights of this new feature!

  • QR codes are enabled by default for all resources (you don't need to turn them on).

  • All bookable resources are available for QR usage.

  • QR codes allow booking at the asset which simplifies check-in tracking and changing.

And the important functionality of QR codes includes:

  • Check-in for a booking that you have on this resource - If you have booked the desk or a meeting room and it's time for check-in - there will be a button to do that.

  • Book this resource - If the resource is free, you'll be able to book it.

  • Switch desk - You can switch your desk to this one if you already booked another.

  • Cancel your booking for this resource - You can cancel your booking if it's ongoing at the moment.

  • View any ongoing booking for this resource - If the resource is not available, you will see information about who is currently occupying it.
