We're excited to announce a new feature that simplifies how your "Off Work" status is communicated within the workplace. Understanding the importance of accurate status updates for effective team collaboration and space management, we've now made it possible to automatically sync your "Off Work" status from Outlook directly into OfficeRnD Hybrid.
What's New?
Our New Outlook Integration allows automatic synchronization of employee "Off Work" status, enabling a more intuitive and efficient way to manage workplace resources. With this new feature, you can ensure that your team's availability and workspace needs are always in sync, without the hassle of manual updates.
Benefits for Admins:
Streamlined Resource Management: Automatically cancel any bookings (except for meeting rooms) when a user is marked "Off Work", covering desks, parking slots, and more.
Enhanced Automation: This feature aligns with our 2024 strategy to boost automation, simplifying administrative tasks and deepening our integrations to serve you better.
Easy Setup: A new card on the Integrations page allows for swift enabling of this integration, complete with a quick link to a setup guide for hassle-free configuration.
Benefits for Employees:
Improved Work-life Balance: Employees can rest assured that their “Off Work” days are accurately reflected across all workplace bookings, enhancing their experience and satisfaction.
No More Manual Updates: The need for employees to manually inform or update their status on different platforms is eliminated, offering a more cohesive and user-friendly experience.
How to Enable It:
To get started, navigate to the Integrations page within your admin panel ( flow : Admin Portal > Integrations > Calendars ). There you'll find a new card dedicated to the Outlook Integration, where you can enable the feature and access the setup guide for detailed instructions.
This update marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing solutions that not only meet the needs of hybrid workplaces but also anticipate them. By bridging the gap between scheduling and actual workspace usage, we're helping you create a more dynamic, efficient, and connected environment for both admins and employees.
The sync occurs once daily at 11 am UTC, focusing on full-day "Out of Office" events marked as “Away” in Outlook, ensuring timely and accurate status updates.
This feature is exclusively available to our Pro and Enterprise plan users, adding even more value to our comprehensive service offerings.
