"End Bookings Early" is Now Available

Hello,
Did you have a half-day planning meeting that finished an hour earlier, or did you need to leave the office before the end of the workday?
Now, you can end your booking earlier and free up the resource for others!

We're thrilled to announce a new feature in our product that contributes further not only to the seamless booking experience, but to enhanced accuracy and optimisation of your resources!

Feature Highlights:

• Optimize Limited Space: With this feature, users can end their bookings early, freeing up desks, rooms, and other resources for colleagues. This means more efficient use of your office space, which is especially important in hybrid work environments. It is available for all resources that are “bookable by the time”.

• Available Across Platforms: Whether you're using our Web Portal, MS Teams, Mobile app, or Chrome Extension, this feature seamlessly integrates into your workflow. ( disclaimer: not currently available in the Admin Portal or Slack )

• Enhanced for Both Users and Admins: For users, it’s about timely space liberation for colleagues. For admins like you, it’s about getting more accurate occupancy data, enabling better decision-making.
  This feature is available on all plans and requires no additional setup by Admins.

How It Works:

This feature is already released so even if you go right now and check a booking, you’ll see the option to “End Booking”.
To start seeing it on Mobile - the app should be updated from the App Store.
Keep in mind that the feature is related to the Booking Policies, so if you have set up that the minimum duration of a resource booking can be 1 hour for example, the end booking option will not be available during the first 1 hour of the booking.
